    Name: Rosalyn Thorne
    Student Type: Coordinator
    Pokemon: Champ the Tyrogue (Healthy)
Summary: Arriving at the Academy Gates
Before I open the gates, I'm going to allow everyone's character to arrive and have a chance to mingle around. Remember the posting order:

    Diesel Heart (GM) - Emissary - ClefairyPrincess - Godspeed - TheCountess - Herp Mk.ii - Thiefyssoul

Thiefyssoul will be included when they are able to catch up. Until then, they are skipped.

Fully knowing that she had overslept, Rosalyn Thorne felt the suffocating duress of panic and it caused her to hightail through Viridian City on a five-year-old bicycle. She lost count of how many people she nearly ran over or the number of obstacles narrowly avoided. She simply refused to be late on the first day of study at the prestigious Evergreen Academy and felt like the world was trying to convince her otherwise. As much as she wanted the stress of being behind schedule to be a dream - a nightmare, the maelstrom of wind rushing through her distinctive, black hair and heavy breathing was enough to keep reality in check. In hindsight, she felt like being one of the first arrivals was a grandiose case of wishful thinking. After all, she doubted anybody else invested nearly forty-five minutes of their morning presenting themselves like her?

Rosalyn was a young woman who felt the need to dress to impress, a habit she inherited over the years from watching televised Pokemon Contests from Hoenn and other regions of the world. She was fundamentally inspired to be presentable at all times, especially when first impressions were a factor. Many hours of shopping and accessorizing went into the creation of her image to emulate that inspiration, too. From the form-fitting red tube-top dress over black leggings and under a black, leather jacket to the abundance of piercings decorating her thin, angular face, today was no exception. Unfortunately, it wasn't doing her any good to become sweaty and fatigued. Perhaps a small price to pay in the grander scheme of things, especially when she had an entire year of making a mark to look forward to.

Eventually, she saw a congregation of other young adults outside a white and elegant fence. She took notice of the gates still being closed and came to a gradual halt near the others. She ignored the stinging pangs of exertion and just felt some margin of victory in knowing she made it on time after all. Nonetheless, she had no doubt in her mind; these gates were supposed to already be open. Her emerald gaze strafed across those gathered, hoping to pinpoint an Instructor or familiar face only to be met with disappointment.

"Am I early?" she asked in mumbled disbelief, barely able to finish the question before her body sucked in more oxygen.

Rosalyn released a soft sigh and placed a foot on the cemented walkway before looking around. Despite the Academy grounds being near the central of Viridian City, it had a splendid array of natural decor surrounding it. They were shrouded from sunlight by the canopy of pristine trees, the gate had a stunning display of ornate engravings and patches of colorful flowers lined up perfectly with the pathway. Beyond the gate, the first thing Rosalyn could see was a set of massive, brick buildings formed around a circular plaza with a fountain as its centerpiece. Within the plaza itself were various benches and seating arrangements.

For now, it seemed she was stuck waiting for the gates to open like everyone else...

    Name: Maxwell C. Oak
    Student Type: Trainer
Pokemon: Sierpinski the Gastly (Healthy) [IMG]
Summary: En route to the Academy Gates
    [IMG]

Italics will represent Max's thoughts. Emoticons will represent Gastly's thoughts.

I made a last second change to Gastly's name.

Also, as you can see, my post is kind of longish. No one needs to feel that they have to make long posts on my accord. Seriously, I don't mind.

Pallet Town was abuzz with excitement with the news that its own Maxwell Oak would be attending Evergreen Academy. A parade was held in Pallet Town that morning, and he was sent off with his entire hometown rooting for him. Particularly his family and the ladies, who came out with pom poms and cheerleading uniforms. With a Pokedex in hand from his Great Grandfather, a map in hand from his Mother, and riding shotgun in his Uncle's red convertible, everything seemed to just be ready for him to take on the world.

The young man had made quite a name for himself throughout Kanto as a Pokemon Researcher, working under his Great Grandfather and eminent Pokemon Research, Professor Samuel Oak. Between the prolific research of Professor Oak and the exceptional Pokemon training legacy of Maxwell's Uncle, Blue Oak, their last name was practically synonymous with excellence. It didn't require much convincing in order for Maxwell to be accepted into Evergreen Academy in spite of the fact that he had no background as a Pokemon trainer. Naturally, his Great Grandfather and Uncle have imparted some knowledge to him, but Maxwell had yet to begin catching Pokemon, and he only had one Pokemon as it was that he'd neither battled with nor trained with. But that didn't make him a total and complete amateur.

Max was only 19, but was exceedingly bright. At an early age, he began to intern as a Research Assistant at his family's Research Lab in Pallet Town and developed a thorough background knowledge of the Kanto region and all of its amazing Pokediversity. This opportunity wasn't afforded to him purely because of his last name; Max excelled academically and proved himself to his Great Grandfather. He was particularly useful working in the Oak Lab, being that he was able to present the newest findings of the labs at conferences better than anyone else. He had a way with words and a way of captivating a room with his charm and charisma. Giving presentations on the newest findings of their Laboratory soon became monopolized by the young man and he developed a bit of a name for himself for his passionate speeches. Of course, his keen insight and charm didn't always lend itself purely toward academic pursuits. Max often made immense earnings gambling by accurately predicting the outcomes of the televised Pokemon League battles.

The glistening sports car drove down the road at a moderate speed; wind blowing through the hair of the two men seated in the front seats. The resemblance between them was uncanny, but the driver was obviously much older than the one in the passenger seat. The two Oaks had built names for themselves, but Max hadn't built anywhere near the name that his Uncle Blue had built for himself. There was always a great relationship between Max and Blue; in fact, it was Blue who taught him how to throw a curveball, and started up his Pokemon education. Max, in turn, always looked up to his uncle. Despite being typically pretty full of himself, Blue was happy to see his little nephew starting down a road or Pokemon training just as he did.

With a smug grin, Blue glanced at Max through his peripherals while trying to keep his eyes on the road, "Hmph, not bad there, kid. For a first battle, that is. Don't let it get to your head though; those Bugcatchers are a dime a dozen from here to the Viridian Forest and they're all equally worthless as Pokemon trainers."

Fresh off of his first Pokemon training victory mediated by his uncle, Max was ecstatic, but kept his cool, "Mm, look who's saying not to let something go to their head. I must have a pretty nasty ego for you to be telling me to humble myself."

The two laughed at the playful ribbing as Blue's Eevee sitting in the backseat jumped onto Max's shoulders and nuzzled his neck playfully. His own Pokemon was a Gastly, but it tended to stay in its Pokeball during the daylight hours. A smile was firmly etched on Max's face as he ran his head over Eevee's head, who purred with joy at his touch. It was content to sit there and be pet forever. His own eyes, however, were advanced ahead where he saw the Academy coming up into view quickly.

"There it is. Don't forget the stuff I taught ya," Blue remarked as they approached. "Try not to be a disappointment to the Oak name, yeah?"

Amused, the handsome young man scratched behind Eevee's ears, causing it to coo in delight, "Aw, but that was my diabolical master plan in coming here. Well, I guess now that you said that, I'm going to actually have to try... a little."

A barely contained snicker erupted from Blue's mouth as he shook his head, "Smart alec."

The car pulled up on the side of the Academy as Eevee jumped off of the young man's shoulder and Max reached into the backseat to haul his backpack over his shoulder and his luggage bag diagonally over the same shoulder. The chiseled, rippling muscles of his forearms and chest were visible by the way he wore his button-up shirt. Once the car had come to a complete stop, Max opened the passenger-side door and stepped out of the convertible, hauling his things over his shoulder. Slamming the door shut gallantly, he looked up at his uncle with a nod that said 'thanks for the ride'.

"Yeah, yeah. Now, it's vacation time in Alola for me. Smell ya later!" Blue snarked.

"Ah, you should only be so lucky," Max said whilst pivoting his head to bring his face to his shoulder and inhaled deeply, although he was unable to actually smell the scintillating, aphrodisic pheromones that his body exuded in the form of a pleasing scent.

The two shared another laugh together as Blue shook his head, "Be sure to call your mother from time to time. She worries about you. If you need anything, you have my number."

The two nodded to one another as Blue pulled out and began to drive off, leaving his nephew to take on the world by himself. Well, maybe not entirely by himself.

We're here. I can't wait to see what they've got in store for us!

    :D

    Name: Agitha
    Student Type: Trainer
    Pokemon: Clefairy the Cleffa
Summary: Arriving at the Academy Gates

Agitha danced around her room, humming a tune softly to herself as she made one last check through her luggage. Packing had been difficult; it took a lot of thought to make sure she had everything she would reasonably expect to need without overdoing it, and so she'd spent the last week editing and revising her checklist.

Clefairy, who was actually a Cleffa despite the nickname, hopped up onto the open suitcase laid out on Agitha's bed. He tilted his face up at her with a look of concern; his belongings had not been packed, nor was there any room left.

"Oh, don't you worry your little pink butt," Agitha reassured him. "Of course you're still coming with me!" She dragged another, smaller bag out from under the bed, and quickly but carefully folded the tiny Cleffa's blanket, struggling to fit it in the bag along with his pillow. Clefairy was a very friendly and social Pokemon, and often pouted when he had to stay in his Pokeball for very long. As a result, Agitha had spoiled him with all sorts of bedding and toys, most of which would unfortunately not be coming to the Academy with them. "Ok Clefairy, there's room for one toy in here, so pick your favorite!"

Clefairy seemed to weigh his options, digging through a large toy chest with his name painted on the lid, before picking up a coloring book and a small box of crayons. "Cleffa!" he proudly exclaimed, holding up his choice for Agitha to pack away. He still couldn't color inside the lines very well, but coloring was a favorite activity of his all the same. Agitha hoped the shops in Viridian City would have enough options when it was time to find him a new book, although she was not opposed to doodling her own images for him to color in if need be.

"I just know you'll be the best of friends with the other trainers' Pokemon, Clefairy. And of course I'll be making friends, too! Ooooh, I can't wait! It just gets so quiet around here..." She looked out her second-floor window, eyes roaming over the expanse of land her family home sat on, just on the edge of Pewter City. The teen had long been home-schooled, and didn't live very close to any neighbors with children her own age. Though she'd had plenty of time to learn the lay of the land (some would even consider her a bit of a nature fanatic), she'd done far less socializing than others. Now, at 19, Agitha was positively itching to get out into the wide world and see what it had to offer her. She'd jumped at the chance to attend Evergreen Academy, due as much to the social nature of a boarding school as to the prestige of this particular school, and had literally been counting the days until she would arrive at its gates. Now, she was ready to start what would certainly be the best years of her life. Well, almost ready.

Looking herself over in her bedroom mirror, Agitha put on the headband she'd chosen for the big day, adorned with pink and brown ears which resembled a Clefairy's. She arranged her strawberry blonde hair to sit smoothly atop her head and used her hands to smooth any wrinkles out of her skirt. She twirled around once, making sure everything about her outfit was in its place; first impressions were important, after all.

The low heels of her boots clicked and clacked on the tile floors as she briskly dragged her suitcase to the front door. The ambitious Cleffa tried to pull his own, but he was so small that its size was awkward for him despite the fact it had wheels, stumbling along determinedly until Agitha snatched it from him. She was so quick that the startled Cleffa was still hanging on to the handle, dangling in the air for a moment before squeaking and jumping safely to the ground.

"Don't worry about that, Clefairy, I've got it! We don't want to be late, after all, and I don't want you to be too tired when we meet all your new friends!"

"Cleffa..." came the appreciative but somewhat disgruntled reply, his tiny feet scrambling to keep up with Agitha's quick stride.

    ----

Though this was hardly her first time through Viridian Forest, Agitha spent much of the uneventful drive gazing out the window, peering out as if seeing the world with new eyes.

"It's amazing how your view of the journey changes based on the destination, isn't it, Persimmon?" she spoke to the family butler, who had driven the car in relative silence the entire way. "I've been through this forest on foot hundreds of times, and occasionally by car, and yet today it seems more... magical. Like even the trees and flowers know this is a special day, and have brightened up their colors just for me." Ever the stoic man, Persimmon merely nodded in response, flinching slightly as the Academy came into view and Agitha screeched loudly. "WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" she blurted out, a giant grin evident on her face. "CLEFAIRY, PERSIMMON, LOOK!" Bouncing her feet, Agitha's hand was on the door handle before the car had even come to a stop, flinging it open the moment it was safe to do so. She had the trunk open and her bags on the ground almost before Persimmon had undone his seatbelt.

Now officially at the Academy, Agitha took a long moment to herself, staring up at the closed gates and the large, elegant buildings beyond. Still smiling, she grabbed Persimmon in a huge bear hug. "Thank you so much for driving me!" Her voice had dropped to a normal volume, but the overwhelming excitement she felt was still clear within it. "Send my love to Mumsy and Poppy, would you? I'm sure they would have been at home to see me off, if they could, but since they couldn't..."

Persimmon nodded, stepping back to the car as Agitha broke the hug and dragged her bags closer to the gates and to the growing crowd of students outside. "Good morning, everyone!" she shouted, waving as she approached. "Are you all as excited as I am? Oooh, this is going to be terrific!"

    Name: Nate
    Student Type: Trainer
    Pokemon: Shocker the Squirtle (Healthy)
Summary: Arriving at the Academy Gates
    [IMG]

Nate lay deeply asleep in his bed, snoring loudly. He could have easily stayed sleeping for the rest of the day. He was so tired because the previous night he had stayed up late going over everything he already knew about pokemon and training just so that he would be in top shape for the academy but what he forgot about was having to get there on time. Thankfully Shocker was always there to help him out.

Shocker moved over to the side of the bed where Nate's head was hanging off and quickly shot water into his face. Nate quickly flung his head up and rubbed his eyes. He was about to ask Shocker why he did it since he usually only done stuff like that when he was annoyed at Nate for whatever reason but before he could open his mouth Shocker quickly interrupted him with "Squirtle..." in his usual scratchy deep voice. As he done this he pointed over to Nate's alarm clock to which Nate quickly jumped out of bed quietly cursing to himself. He knew he didn't have as much time as he would've like to get to the Academy.

Nate ran as fast as he could into his bathroom and got showered as fast as humanly possible. He then flung on his usual white t-shirt and black jacket. He never usually treat what he wore this way since he did care about how he looked but right now he didn't have a lot of time to focus on his appearance. So he quickly fixed his bright blue hair and ran back into his room. Thankfully he had packed his bags the night before so all he done was toss his bag over his shoulders. While Nate had been showering Shocker had climbed into his backpack since he never really liked being in his poke ball and Nate sure wasn't gonna complain about always having his best friend by his side.

Nate quickly moved out of the room but within a few seconds came right back in. He fumbled through a drawer and pulled out a small pair of sunglasses. He reached behind him and said "Make sure you don't forget these." Shocker then took them from Nate's hand and slowly placed them onto his face. Almost the day after they met it was clear that Shocker never liked having the sun in his eyes so Nate decided it would be nice to get him a stylish way to avoid it.

Nate moved from his room and down the stairs where he was greeted with a small bag with sandwiches in it. There was a note beside that bag that read:

"Sorry we couldn't be here to see you off.

You were the one that insisted we go on the cruise.

    Good luck.

    Love Gran & Grandad"

Sure they still treated him like a child even though he was 19 but sometimes he didn't mind. He knew he wasn't going to see them again for awhile and him and Shocker loved his Gran's sandwiches so it was definitely a nice surprise.

Nate looked down at the paper with a smile on his face and slowly tucked it into his back pocket. He then picked up the bag and reached behind him once again and handed it to Shocker before saying playfully "Don't you dare eat them while your in there." he then laughed a little as he heard a little grunt come from his backpack.

Nate quickly made his way out of the house and hopped on his bike. It would be quite a long bike ride but even if he didn't act it he was actually quite athletic. As he cycled towards the Academy he started to think about the types of people that would be there. He was never very good at socializing and got picked on a lot in school. He knew that Maxwell Oak would be attending but he only knew this since he went to the parade that the town had for him but apart from that he had no idea of the type of people that would show up.

After a long bike ride Nate began to see the Academy in the distance. It was a huge understatement to say he was overwhelmed. He could already see the people gathered outside and he was not looking forward to meeting anyone. Sure he hoped that this would be different than high school and that he would be able to socialize more but wanting it and going through with it are to completely different things and the doing was the bit that scared the hell out of him.

He quickly stopped his bike when he got near the gates and propped it down beside him. It felt weird to him to be so out in the open surrounded by people but he would soon be calmer. Shocker quickly hoped out of his backpack and slid down his arm before dropping onto the ground beside him. Nate and Shocker both stood staring up at the gates and the Academy itself with a pure look of awe in their eyes. Shocker slowly fixed his sunglasses while Nate got down on one knee beside him.

Nate was still looking in the direction of the gates like Shocker but he leaned his fist over his knee and said quite loudly to him without even realizing "Can you believe we got here?" Shocker then bumped his fist, it was clearly a small pokemon fist bump to anyone looking on at them. Shocker then in a quiet tone responded to Nate with a little "Squirtle..."
They proceeded to just sit there in awe of what was in front of them while they waited for the gates to open. Nate was to excited to be at the academy to realize how many people were actually around him.

    Name: Casey Edwards
    Student Type: Trainer
    Pokemon: Alpha the Bulbasaur (Healthy)
Summary: Arriving at the Academy Gates

Casey awoke when the sky was still dark. Alpha her bulbasaur still snoozed on the bed peacefully. She sat up wearing her pink pajamas and got out of bed, heading towards the kitchen. She found her mom Violet in there making breakfast. "Mom, please tell me you made waffles?" She asked still mostly asleep as she sat down at the large kitchen island. Casey was always up early and she followed her own strict schedule. Any deterrent from it would put her into a panic attack. She knew going to Evergreen Academy would be a major change in her life, but at eighteen she felt she could handle it.

"Yes, dear" Violet turned around from the waffle maker and began to put Casey's waffles onto a large white plate. Violet stayed at home and took care of her daughter, while Violet's dad John worked as a doctor. Casey got all of her looks from her mom, but she had her dads personality. Casey had a big heart but sometimes other parts of her personailty got in the way of showing her affection. Violet covered the waffles in butter and syrup before bringing them over to Casey.

"Good." Casey spoke a little too loudly as her mother sat the waffles down on the counter infront of her. She would have hated for her day to start off bad without having her favorite breakfast. There was nothing that could go unplanned as to this day, everything must be perfect. Casey began to eat the waffles, as her mother sat down some orange juice down next to her.

Casey ate most of her breakfast before getting up from the table to get dressed for her new day. She had already packed her many bags and they all sat by the door, ready to be carried to the car. As Casey headed upstairs to her room to get dressed, her mother began packing the car. Once to her large room Casey changed into the outfit she had previously chosen that hung in the front of her closet. She traded in her pajamas for a white button up blouse, black sweater and pink skirt. She also chose some black knee length socks and black shoes to finish the outfit. The noise she created finally caused Alpha to begin to stir on the led. The bulbasaur woke up lazily, taking his time to stretch. Alpha watched her as she looked in her mirror, throwing her hair back into a messy pony tail. Alpha jumped off of the bed making a rucus. Casey bent down to pet him as they made their way back out in search of Violet.

Casey and Alpha found Violet outside near the car, trying to fit all of her bags into the car. "Casey, I do not know if this is all going to fit." Violet sighed using her hip to cram a suticase in the backseat of the small car. She wiped her forehead and looked at her daughter and then to the bulbasaur.

"Mom, it has to. I need all of this stuff." Casey whined while standing there watching her mom work. "Move, I will make it fit." Casey told her mom as Violet moved out of the way, kicking the suitcase a couple times. Then she slammed the car door. "See I told you that it would fit. You just weren't trying hard enough." Casey dusted off her hands on her pink skirt and got in the car, allowing Alpha to sit on her lap. There was no more room in the car for him to sit.

Violet sighed heavily at her daughters attitude. She came around and got into the other side of the car. As she started the car, she smiled over at her daughter who was leaving on her first journey away from home. "Casey dear." She spoke slowly and softly. "I want you to have fun but you also need to be careful."

"I know mom. I will be fine." Casey sighed heavily as she petted her bulbasaur. She turned away from her mother and looked out the window the rest of the way to their destinatation.

    -----------------

Casey was one of the first people to arrive at the gates. Violet sat across the street in the car as Alpha hopped out of the car followed by Casey. The house would be empty now that Casey would be gone and Violet had no idea how she would deal with that. "I will wait here until they let you in and figure out how to get all of your bags to your room!" Casey ran off with Alpha in tow as her mother was mid sentence causing her to yell the last part of what she said. Casey ran until she was at the large gates. She looked up at them and past them into large buildings beyond. It caused her eyes to twinkle and a large smile to splash across her face as she thought of all the future possibilities beginning with one step through the gate. She looked down at Alpha who stood loyally by her side.

    Pokemon: Richard the Murkrow (Healthy)
Summary: Heading to the academy gates

"I get it, Ricahrd! Would you stop pecking me much already? Get th-Fahk!" Catherine yelped as she felt her Murkrow constantly pecking her relentlessly through Viridian city, pushing her towards their assigned destination. Every time she would slightly inch off course, the bird would simply peck at her sides to inch the woman in the right direction, though she didn't quite see it as helping. "What the hell!? I was gonna take a short-" Richard wasted no time in pecking his trainer again, further urging his trainer to go where he wanted. Not wanting to feel the wrathful beak of her partner, the raven hair female instant jerk away from the erong direction "F-fine! Geez..." She sighed heavily and wiped the sweat from her brow, putting on her red hoodie and adjusting her sweatpants as she ran along. She didn't wake up on the side of a road to be running late for some school.

So far the day was pretty much going how it usually did for the wandering duo; wake up, argue, run around, arge, rinse and repeat until the day was over. Yes today was just another day for the pair, though the last week had been a blast so say the least. Ever since they moved from Unova into Kanto, nothing seemed to ever bore the two as they made their way from Vermillion City back to the Viridian area. However, that wasn't to say the two didn't have their usual problems. Right now they were running the risk of getting to school late and Catherine already had a pretty bad reputation back in Unova. She wasn't going to tarnish her first impressions by being late.

Catherine looked back the Murkrow as he followed behind her, now looking a lot more focused as they were beginning to pick up more speed. "Hey bird brain, how far until we get there?" She called behind her. The bird began to flap it's wings quickly and flew higher into the air, examining the city from above for his trainer. After a good look, Richard instantly recognized the building in the distance and began squawking as loudly as he could. From all the time spent together, Catherine knew that the building was close by. "Nice, just a little bit more!"

Once she was sure that the school was nearby, Catherine wasted no time. Breaking into a full on sprint she soared aboved the ground as her partner did, instinctively racing him towards the campus grounds. Richard himself stayed by her side, looking at her with that mischievous grin he always had. Eventually the bird began to cut in front of his trainer, as if to say that he wanted to get there before her. Catherine however was not going to have that happen. "Get outta way!" She lightly shooed the bird out of her way, but eventually the bird retaliated with a few pecks od his own.

After a little while longer, a crowd was in the view of both trainer and pokemon. Catherine instanly put her heel down to brake, but ended up stumbling over the ground. "W-woah!" Luckily Richard had the right idea and grabbed his trainers hoodie, flapping his wings to slow the woman down just enough for her to keep her balance, leading Catherine to stand up right and stop completely near the edge of the crowd. "Woah, looks like the whole gang's here. Though they all look a bit...preppy?" She whispered to Richard, only to get a nod in agreement. "Maybe I should have dressed a bit better, huh?" The bird cawed loudly before nodding it's head vicious, the response causing the pale female to blush a little. "Oh shut up, you..." Both of the rascals chuckled before settling down, looking to the entrance with similar interest. "So this is what we won. Only can hope for complementary drinks, am I right?" She grinned to her feathered buddy, earning what seemed like a laugh from the pokemon.

Personality: shes pretty fun going and hardly ever seriouse. Her idol is Red (or who evers champion). She can apear to have a hero complex and jump into situations before thinking. The only time shell get remotly angry is if she finds people abusing or bullying thier pokemon.

    History:
Eden is your typical Palett town trainer! She grew up watching pokemon tornaments on tv! Catching the elite battles on TV and it inspired her. But nothing inspired her then the current Champion Red!! (Or Ash what ever terms you're using)

She couldnt sleep that night and so ended up being extreamly early to get her starter pokemon Charmander (though she loved Bulbasaur he started up her allergies with his pollen)

Though her mother had wished she would of become a breeder or something less...boyish... she still wished her daughter well. Her father thiking it was best to send her to an acadomy first before she truly set out on her journey.

The young girl ran around her room almost screaming as her clock screamed at her for the umptenth time of being put on snooze.

Never mind having Spark shoot a very painful ember at her to wake her up... damn growlithe, if he wasnt so damn cute.....

She panicked as she heard her mother comment that it sounded like a heard of Rhyhorn where rinning around up stairs.

Eden littraly had a quick in and out shower and grabed her bags, and the shiny red and white pokeball that had been sitting on her bedside table and her gear.

She fixed her screwed up yet colourful cloathing and rushed downstairs. Her mother commenting on the parade that had left an hour or so ago from the Oak Lab. Though eden wasnt too intrested in home town celebs. Well...not all of them at least

"You ready kido?" Her older brother smiled as she wolfed down some breakfast and nearly choked.

"Yes! I just... i just have to get to Veridian Forest!!" She weeped as her mother laughed softly and said that her brother was kind enough to give her a lift seen as he had a job heading that way.

"I still wish you hadnt chossen something so....brutish" she pouted as she tried to fix her daughters hair, "that die will ruien your natrual colour"

"Thats the point" Eden mumbled as she pulled her hair away from her mother the chocolate brown locks suddenly turning into every colour of the rainbow the further down the strands you got.

Soon it was time to and after waving goodbye she hopped onto the shiny Rapidash that her brother owned and they set off. She let out a yell and held onto him. Just barely hearing him over the wind and about how she was to behave and do as she was told.

Safe to say...they got to the forest...but Eden had to make her own way through the forest... never mind the amount of times she got lost and in hopes of having better light and direction she let her charmander out, he seemed excited but both soon got annoyed with all the forestry and it tock every ounce of will power for them to not burn the forest down.

But finaly, with twigs and leaves in her hair she finaly made it to the school!

"Whooh" she spoke as she reached the gates and noted the group of people who had clearly been here longer then her before she picked up the charmander that had been out of his ball since the forest. He hung there quite happily mind and let out a yawn.

"Well at least im not too late" she laughed lightly not careing that she looked like she had been dragged through a bush...or countless bushes backwards.

    Name: Rosalyn Thorne
    Student Type: Coordinator
    Pokemon: Champ the Tyrogue (Healthy)
Summary: Arriving at the Academy Gates

Rosalyn fully dismounted her bike and walked with it closer to the gates, taking note of the Pokemon on display. She recalled plenty of Contests over the years featuring some of them, especially those with cuter or more physically appealing appearances. Those that didn't already have a Pokemon held the universally identifiable sphere hanging from a belt which left her to wonder how many were there for the same reasons she was. After all, the ratio of Trainers to Coordinators in the pamphlet wasn't the most encouraging statistic. Nevertheless, the Academy was a means to an end for her and served as a step in the right direction.

A few of the other students stood out, however...

The closest to her was the blue-haired guy that arrived on a bike accompanied by a Squirtle wearing sunglasses. Judging from how they were interacting and giving each other a fist-bump, she assumed they were really close and vaguely smiled about it. Past him was a blonde girl giving an energetic wave and exclaimed question accompanied by a Cleffa. Both of them had packed light, it seemed, likely to accommodate essentials and personal belongings not provided by the Academy. In direct contrast, there was another blonde girl that arrived with a car crammed full of belongings, apparently in possession of a Bulbasaur. Each of them had a positive relief or abundance of excitement for being here, though.

"Hey there!" Rosalyn replied to the energetic blonde, waving back with her gloved hand. "I'm with you on that! Totally looking forward to learning everything I can while I'm here. Like this dude said, she pointed at Nate. "I'm still a bit surprised I was even accepted in the first place let alone being here, you know?"

Rosalyn's eyes drifted over to the small batch of newcomers following the energetic blonde. The first was a woman with multi-colored hair and accessories collected by navigating through the forest. She took note of the girl's Charmander, completing the rumored trio of Starters all trainers received from Professor Oak. The second was a hooded girl nearly toppling head over heels if not for the Murkrow's quick thinking. She assumed part of the percentage of students who didn't put as much emphasis on first impressions when it came to appearance but reserved judgment; it wasn't like she was placing her own expectations on others. The last to arrive was someone Rosalyn instantly recognized as Maxwell Oak, pulling up in a convertible with an Eevee and Blue.

"So, the rumors are true," Rosalynn mused aloud. "Get ready to be outshined and overlooked folks," she added in humor but with a vague hint of bitterness.

I picked a color for Rose to keep my post's consistency. If you'd like it to be something else, I don't mind changing it. Great posts, by the way, guys. I'm digging Rosalyn's reaction to Maxwell. Haha.

Diesel, you should also edit OP to include Theify in the turn order.

Despite being one of the last arrivals, Max seemed to be one of the more laid back trainers who weren't rushing to get there. Part of it was probably that he got a ride by his prestigious Uncle, so he didn't need to run to get there. But it was more a part of his nature as an individual. Max was often late to things, and as soon as he smiled, all was forgiven. People would forgive a lot of things from him, so he never had to be particularly punctual. Of course, that was the least of the trouble he got into, but it was emblematic of how he approached things. It didn't matter if it was a date, a Pokemon conference, a speech he was supposed to give, his research at the Lab -- Max tended to be late. And got away with it pretty regularly. Fortunately, it seemed like he wasn't exactly late; just not early.

Hauling his bags over his broad shoulders with a shuffle, he looked over the congregation of would-be Pokemon trainers with a content smile. Looked like a diverse group of characters. But just as he was looking them over, he had a number of eyes glued to him. Some of them looked resentful and intent to bring him down without even having spoken with him. He'd have to remember that there was a target on his chest and it was glittered, neon, and laminated. That said, it looked like there were just as many people -- mostly females -- who were elated to see him there. Okay, so that balances it out somewhat, right? He'd personally like to be the one to make his own first impression, but at least if he was going to be in the crosshairs, it also seemed like there were people happy to see him there.

Hey, Sierpinski. You ever get the feeling you were being watched?

    o_O

Yeah, yeah, I know. Big crowds make you uneasy. Don't worry, I won't take you out of the Pokeball until night or unless I need to. Besides, it looks like a number of the trainers here have their Pokemon walking freely. We should get a good look at who has what -- and keep the luxury of the element of surprise. Most people don't have a ghost type as their starter.

    >:)

Glancing out along the horizon of trainers, he took note of who had what Pokemon with them. Some of them had their Pokemon out just because their Pokemon didn't like the pokeball, but others had them out to show off a bit. Gave Max a good opportunity to scout the competition. One of the first people he picked up on was Casey Edwards; no one he knew, but she looked like she had way more bags than would be necessary. Looked like she was there with her mother or some other female parental figure -- and she had a Bulbasaur. Working in the lab, Max got a chance to learn a lot about Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu were Gramps' favorite Pokemon to research.

And speaking of Pokemon he was familiar with, he caught sight of a girl with a Charmander. She looked like... she had seen better days. Must have had to go through the Viridian Forest the long route. It was still muddy from the rain yesterday. Charmander was a lot harder to find in the wild than the other three Pokemon. But he was more impressed by the Pokemon she rode in on. Another fire type, and it was the fully evolved form of another uncommon Pokemon, Ponyta. But that alone didn't make the Rapidash intriguing; its flames were blue! Such Rapidashes are incredibly rare. Every Pokemon that wasn't one-of-a-kind had another phenotype that came about every 1 in 8192 of that species. They called it shiny, and he was intrigued to see one right in front of him. It wasn't often that he got to encounter one.

Actually, that girl looked vaguely familiar. He could swear he'd seen her around Pallet Town, but he couldn't quite remember where. And speaking of which, he immediately spotted the third of the four Pokemon mentioned above. A Squirtle! Squirtle was always one of Max's favorite Pokemon to work with. The Squirtle also seemed to be sporting a pair of sunglasses, which made Max smile. But... hang on. The blue-haired trainer with that Squirtle also looked familiar. Was... was he from Pallet Town too?

Hm. Sierpinski, do you remember that blue-haired kid who was getting picked on back in Pallet Town?

    :(

I think I see him in the crowd here. In fact, I swear I saw him at the parade this morning too. I'm almost sure that he's from Pallet Town. There's another girl that looks familiar too that I think is from our hometown. Do you suppose they're going to be students here?

    o_O

If so, that's a bit... uncomfortable. Why would the town throw a parade for only me, when three trainers from our hometown managed to get into the Academy at the same time? That seems... really rude of them, no?

That made Max feel a bit uneasy. He had been under the impression that he was the only trainer from Pallet Town accepted into the Academy. The fact that there were two other trainers who got accepted and were totally ignored confused him.

It was at that point that he heard a voice articulate the thing he dreaded, "Get ready to be outshined and overlooked folks."

More eyes seemed to lock onto him, and things became very uncomfortable very quickly. Well, this was going to be awkward. But hey, it didn't have to be. Thinking fast, Max made a beeline to the girl who uttered the words, hauling his bags. He tried to mitigate any resentment as soon as possible.

"Don't worry. Everyone loves a good underdog story, so when you all inevitably kick my lazy butt, you'll be catapulted to superstardom. And I'll be knocked off my perch, rocking back and forth on a street corner in Downtown, Saffron City and drinking soup out of an old shoe, reminiscing over the good ol' days," Max tried to make light of their insecurities with some self-deprecating humor.

With a big smile, Agitha made her way closer to the dark-haired girl who'd responded to her greeting. Her red dress clung to her body beneath a leather jacket, giving her a bit of a punk vibe, but the girl seemed friendly so far. "Come on, Clefairy," Agitha loudly whispered. "Let's go introduce ourselves to our first school friend!"

She took the time to look around at the other students as she passed by, smiling brightly at anyone she made eye contact with. Her attention seemed to flit rather quickly from one thing to another.

"Glad to see I'm not the only one who had trouble figuring out what to pack!" she spoke as she passed a car clearly filled to the brim with luggage. "Cleffa!" came the indignant reply, as Agitha rolled her eyes at the little pink Pokemon. "Oh goodness, Clefairy. Don't go getting all bratty just because we didn't bring everything you own. I know students are allowed more than two bags, but that's entirely not the point! You have what you need; and hey, we might get to explore some shops in Viridian City some time, what if we find a million new things and then can't get them all home because we already brought too much with us?" He seemed to consider this as she spoke, head tilting to the side with a small, "Hmm..." sound.

Almost before she'd finished her last sentence, her eyes landed on a blue-haired boy with a Squirtle. "Ohmygosh, your Squirtle has sunglasses! Those are too cute!" Her head turned back down to Clefairy, "We need to get you some of those, don't you think? I think you'd look downright snazzy in some star-shaped shades." This time it was Clefairy's turn to roll his eyes.

Now approaching her destination, she could hear a mutter from the girl who had spoken to her; she was talking about the latest arrival, who was cleary some hot shot trainer. Agitha watched all the commotion, intrigued by the other students' reactions to the cute blonde boy and what had just been said about him. She stopped close by, not long after he'd swooped in to reply to the bitter comment. He seemed confident and witty, not a bad guy at all.

"Hello there!" she cheerfully interjected once he'd finished speaking. "I was just walking over to say hi to my new friend here. My name is Agitha," she introduced herself, speaking to both trainers. "And this little guy," she scooped Clefairy up into her arms, "is Clefairy." "Cleffaaaa!" he exclaimed, waving with both little arms in his own way of saying 'nice to meet you'.

Summary: Waiting for the Academy Gates to open

Nate and Shocker were messing with each other when Nate heard the girl behind him speak and then point at him. He quickly turned around and stuttered a little before just smiling and keeping his mouth shut. Then as another girl with her Cleffa passed him and commented on Shockers shade's he laughed a small bit and said "Oh...um...Thanks." it was pretty clear how nervous he was.

As he looked around he now realised how many people were around him and started to feel quite uncomfortable. He then heard the girl that pointed at him earlier mention Maxwell. Nate quickly turned around while still on the ground next to Shocker to see Maxwell get out of Blue's care and comment on what the girl had said about him.

Nate then looked down at Shocker and said quietly to him "I mean she's not wrong but i'd rather it be him than some douche bag." Shocker then nodded his head slightly and came out with a small "Squirtle..." Nate then looked back to the people and saw that they were all together talking with each other. He looked down at the ground and let out a small sigh since he wasn't really confident enough to go talk to new people. Shocker knew this and jumped up slightly and punched Nate in the arm. Nate quickly turned to him and said quietly still "What was that for?" Shocker then nudged his head toward the crowd of people and said with a slightly motivational sounding "Squirtle..." Nate looked at the group and then back at Shocker before saying "Uh...no...I can't. We have stuff to do, right?" Shocker then rolled his eyes under his shades and started shouting "Squirtle! Squirtle! Squirtle!" in a very happy tone as he ran over to the group of people, wanting to meet their pokemon and push Nate to speak to them.

Nate then let his head fall as he let out a small sigh. He slowly stood up and approached the group of people. His nerves were bad enough around normal people he didn't know so it certainly didn't help that Maxwell was one of the people in the crowd. He walked over to them and said with a smile "Hey." he scratched the back of his head trying to think of something to say and eventually came out with "So...how long do you think it's gonna be before they open the gates?" he looked down at Shocker. Shocker then made a small noise that sounded a bit like a laugh as he hit Nate's leg softly, he clearly found the whole situation he had put Nate in hilarious.

    Pokemon: Alpha the Bulbasaur (Healthy)
    Summary: At the Academy gates

Casey being one of the first to arrive got to see the competition show up and evaluate them from afar. There was a variety of different types of Pokemon as well as a variety of trainers. Everyone certainly seemed to stand out and she could not wait to actually see how they battled. Casey was ready for some competition and everyone seemed to have the same vibe. They all seemed ready to give their best and that excited her. A girl in a red dress walked by with a large smile on her face who seemed cheery and eager to meet the other trainers. She had a Cleffa which the girl seemed talk to everyone as she passed by. Casey being shyer than most people just smiled back and nodded at her as she passed by.

There was a blue haired guy with a neat looking Squrtle who seemed to be more shy than the others. The Squirtle wore sunglasses and seemed to more more chatty than his owner. She chuckled at the squirtle who seemed to be more ready to greet people than his owner. Casey's attention was already turned to a competition between two people. The whole crowd seemed to turn and watch as things began to get tense between the duo. She had no idea who either of them were, as a matter of fact she didn't recognize anyone in the crowd of people.

It seemed the man, who obviously came from money judging by the car he came in was known by some of the others. Casey pushed through the crowd to get a closer view of what was going down between the two. She guessed that a competition between the two would be very interesting to witness. The girl had seemed to say something that Casey had missed entirely but she heard what the guy had said back to her. She shook her head and laughed out loud at his words. The kid seemed to have guts as well as a high self esteem which she immediately noticed. She looked down at Alpha as the Bulbasaur had followed her over to the scene. She watched the others gauging their reactions and waited to see what else would happen.

She turned back to see her mother watching them all. She was still waiting for the gates to open so she could lug Casey's bags up to her room. It seemed Casey was the only person who seemed to pack as much as she did. The others had more than likely noticed her mother still sitting across the street. Casey sighed loudly as she was beginning to get impatient of the wait. She knelt down and petted Alpha on the head. "Hopefully, we get to go in soon boy" she said quietly to her Bulbasaur.

    Name:Catherine Armstrong
    Pokemon: Richard the Murkrow (Healthy)
    Student Type: Trainer
    Summary: Arrived at Gates
Catherine looked around for a bit as she tried to process what she needed to look for in the people around her. Her eyes slowly glazed across nearly every individual, noticing some consistencies as her vision hoped from place to place. Most students were packed with average to heavy amounts of luggage, every one of these trainers seemed to have kanto native pokemon, and that most of these sutdents seemed to hold themselves highly with snazzy clothing and such. She looked to her dirtied duffle bag as she began to silently compare herself to the countless others around her, though she came to the obvious conclusion that everyone here was either rich or local. In some way she found a little bit exciting, being a dirtied, unequipped, and foreign student sounded like an interesting reputation to get.

The raven haired girl began to nibble on her bottom lip, "We could really seperate ourselves if we can play this right. Though as of now we look pretty unprofessional, maybe even weird." Richard nodded viciously as he lowered Catherine's hood and began to dust her face off with its wings, cleaning the girl from her own shoulder. Still, the trainer didn't find it too cool to have this done all of a sudden. "H-Hey! Knock it off!" She hissed quietly at the bird, hoping she could get her point across without sounding too angry. "I didn't say looking casual was a bad thing."

The murkrow stopped cleaning his trainer not because she told him to, but because he was already done, letting out a "hmph," as he seemed pleased with his own work. Flapping his wings, Richard rose and hopped onto Catherine's other shoulder, and began to flap his wings again, only to get some of the bits of grass that were still left in the girl's hair.

"You know the moment I want you to do these kinds of things, you never do them. What makes today any different?" She was a bit skeptical about how pushy Richard was, since it usually meant that his was either excited or terrified. Of course she would get her answer as the bird gestured over to the group of people who were all focusing on one young man and some random person spouting out some stuff. Some about being out outshined or something of that nature. It only took a few moments for the man to talk about how if anyone was better than him, and it's be fine in his case. Joking about his overly unfortunate future made the girl smirk a little. "Streets aren't that bad once you get use to it. Though last time I had some, shoes were made for walking!" She half yelled into the crowd, earning a few scoffs and chuckles here and there.

The reaction was enough to make the words worth it, since she wasn't immediately shit down when she began talking. Then again it wasn't like she was saying anything truly darring. Still she figured she might have just as well saying something more to appeal to everyone. "First impressions of Kanto sort far, people are friendly as can be or oddly bitter towards each other. Neato." Richard half laughed as it looked at ever other trainer, nodding it's heading until it looked at a certain squirtle. The bird squinted its eyes for a second before looking away, somewhat confused about the water type's fashion sense. From there the bird just looked up to the sky and took off, spiraling upwards as it was curious to see what was going off, leaving Catherine alone with half of herself. "Oh...well crap. There he goes again, nice." The murkrow could be heard, half laughing as it circle around in the sky as he waited like his trainer.

For now she was just left to socialize with herself, so Catherine looked again at the people around her to find the person that stood out to her most. Luckily it was easy to pick somebody else from the crowd, that person being a blue haired male with a neat little turtle pokemon accompanying him. With a casual strut, she moved in towards the boy and leaned in a little when she was close enough, slightly more interested with the tiny turtle that was wearing sunglasses. "Nice shades. Go pretty good with your sturdy look." She turned to the boy as smile lightly as she hald out her hand. "Just another tourist from out of thr region, so I hope you don't mind if I take a look at this little guy." Immediately after saying that, the murkrow came down and landed on her shoulder again only to leer at the squirtle in a rather menacing way, much different than Catherine's curiosity. "You got the look. Much better than what my partner can do-OW!" The girl jolted back as she felt the bird pecked the side of her head, looking unpleased with his trainer's words. For a moment, the hooded girl was caressung her own cheek for a second before continuing. "...anyway. I was looking through the crowd and I couldn't help but have my eyes land on you, well you're hair really, but yeah. Not one for conversation...but you seem pretty cool. Wanna chat?" Catherine leaned against the younger male, taking a good look at his hair again before speaking once more. "That's some pretty good dye though. Not gonna lie."

(Must appologise for ghe latesness!!! Only just seen the noteification))

She watched the last few people turn up and realised just how diffrent they where! But all seemed rather friendly, there was even another Pallet resident!!

Her charmader let out a slight growl and shifted but he enjoyed being held. She watched as there came a ruckus as one of the males turned up, she recognised him as an Oak. The guy that had the parade in his houner.

She just looked back at the accadmony and funnily enought, though she seemed cheery and out there somewhat, she prefured to be away from the growing croud.

Eden decided to sit by the wall and went into her bag to pull out some candies for her Charmander who let out a happy squeak and began to munch on them.

"Lucikly i brought all your faves" Eden smiled as she petted the dragon pokemon who smiled with crumbs round his mouth as he sat down and munched away. "Those candy games are difficult but when you have a mum who bakes shit..." she chuckled and pet the pokemon.

"Everyone here seems friendly enough. Wheather thier rich or poor" she mussed "should be fun... eveb if it means our journey will have to wait for a bit" she added

"Char!" The pokemon smiled as he finished his treat and picked out another one before his trainer put the box away.
